Message From Director

Covid 19 is a new phase in human history. It hits many of the practices of mankind. Empires fear and emperors fear. But why? Problems are never solved by fear. It shall be solved by thoughts and actions. About Fear, Khalil Gibran wrote:

It is said that before entering the sea
a river trembles with fear.
She looks back at the path she has traveled,
from the peaks of the mountains,
the long winding road crossing forests and villages.
And in front of her,
she sees an ocean so vast,
that to enter
there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.
But there is no other way.
The river can not go back.
Nobody can go back.
To go back is impossible in existence.
The river needs to take the risk
of entering the ocean
because only then will fear disappear,
because that’s where the river will know
it’s not about disappearing into the ocean,
but of becoming the ocean.

It is true. We cannot go back. Neither can we descend down. When the usual practices are to be kept aside, we have to open up new practices. We will never retreat. We have to open new path. A new path with all possible means. Let us keep away from the distresses and march towards better hopes. We have to redirect Covid to be an opportunity. BharatiyaVidyaBhavan Ramanattukara Kendra is with our dear students set to go ahead using maximum technical possibilities to provide real Web Class Room facilities extending to the homes of our students learning at Bhavan’s Vidyamandir, Bhavan’s Vidyashram, Bhavan’s BRITE and Bhavan’s PALSAR. Teaching and learning cannot be an eye wash – providing a class for few minutes every day at a fixed time on any one of the many subjects to be studied! So we have designed to deliver students full-fledged classes as if they were attending the School or College. This too, accessible for them at any time they can avail using smart TV or Computers with internet and electric connectivity. We have tried to provide our students the exact class rooms covering the complete curriculum.

It was earlier planned to deliver Web classes to our students by 1st June. But a lot of technical problems had to be solved before reaching out to your gadget screens. Now it is ready for you to sit in your houses and listen to the classes by your beloved teachers covering all the lessons you are to be taught. Provisions are being made for periodical interactions with your teachers and getting clarifications and doubts alleviated by way of live online programmes. I hope all parents are ready with compassionate assistance and guidance to their children in this period of crisis and challenge equipped with best possible internet facilities.

Now my dear students, it is your turn to try the maximum to utilize the facilities arranged and walk against the adversities, defeating the misfortunes of Covid. In this period of hardship, you are not alone. All of us; your parents, your School/College, your teachers, the non-teaching staff, your friends, relatives and behind all these efforts the BharatiyaVidyaBhavan are all here to support and facilitate you. Go ahead with full vigor and strive hard to achieve your objectives keeping all the advices and instructions from your teachers and parents. Surely the success is yours and the future will be bright.

When you are ready to work hard, the blessings of the almighty will be alwayswith you. Remember the last Sloka of Bhagavat Gita.
